So to make a good come back, here are a few short stories I just posted on facebook but on an ETA's wife group page which is closed to the public. Me and James had our week in the ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) spotlight and I tried to make it shine with stories, pictures and videos.

I first met James in Katowice Poland he taught at my English language school. James says that when he saw me for the first time waiting for class that he said to himself "If only I could have her then everything in life would be great."
It was love at first sight. I remember being so nervous in his classes and during th...e breaks everyone would smoke and I could tell James was looking at me.
Then we dated a few times and I remember listening to his songs, original songs that he recorded in Poland. I listened and listened and fell more in love. I still love those songs. Now we have true love and 3 true love kids.

How Elvis became a part of our life...
One year ago, January, there was a local contest in San Diego. James' brother spotted an ad in the newspaper and I knew this is what James should do - go and win. He was against it, he didnt want to go but I was sure he must! As he was standing he went to the contest in an old velv...et jacket and a wig for 15$. All he needed was his voice, and he won! Someone also asked him to sing at their wedding. Not long after that he started to be an Elvis Tribute Artist. Now 8 months later Elvis is his full time job and even if some months are hard he has my full support to do what he loves!

The True begining...since James was 17 he ha been an actor, New York, L.A. San Francisco. The true begining of his Elvis life was in 1998 when he was asked to audition for a play written by Comedian/Writer/- Steve Martin. The play featured Einstein and Picasso and a time traveling Elvis. They wanted a real Elvis someon...e who could make him seem real not just hip swiveling and sneering. James watched all the films listened to Elvis Music and read everything he could find because it was a great part and the money was fantastic and the play was touring. James went to Los Angeles to audition for Steve Martin himself. Steve liked James' look but the best thing was he said James had "That certain something that Elvis had that we just can't describe" (Steve had met Elvis after Elvis saw his show) needless to say James got the part and was Elvis for 2 years. But being an ETA would come much later, but the seed was planted.

It was an honour to be one week on the spotlight! I hope everybody know us little more and hope we all will meet one day in person ...sooner or later. Hopefully in Memphis :)

Written by alex.kruk on 9:48 PMNo2. The intresting part of my life from my far away past is that I was ileagally traveling with my father on his oiltanker ship for a long time. I was about 5 years old. I was visiting my dad and he decided to take me for a short trip to Holland but plans changed very quickly and they couldnt go back to Poland so I HAD to stay. I remember other countires like Brasil, I remember there was a swimming pool on board, I remember driving the ship with my dad.
No3. JAMES said - I always have our kids to make me smile keep me alive and in the moment. They are so beautiful innocent and full of hopes and dreams and they think I am the greatest. When I come home and they rush to me and hug me its the best.
No.4 JAMES said - I also have my Alex who helps me to overcome bad feelings or negative people that have to pop up in our lives now and then. She has always believed in me and more she can push me to do things that I need to do but sometimes am too afraid or lazy to do. I love you my Alex.
No5. I do like taking pictures of myself so that they look original and unique. A post is always better with a photo: ME taken by ME last week. I even do like post only with photos.

Written by alex.kruk on 8:18 PMNo1. I know. I am lame. I am so lame doing blog posts! There are so many things I want to blog about, share but then somehow they are just staying in my head. OY WEY - me :) Sorry about that ! One reason for that is the fact that I don't like bloggspot so much and I am thinking about finding a new home for my blog.
No2. Lilly - My little Lilly. Yesterday was her big day! Her first gig. She was so excited, she did great and she looked so so beautiful! We Went shopping after and that made her day even better and it felt so good to see her being so happy. In the Disney store Lilly put every single dress on but she ended up with a Princess and the Frog toy. So like her mommy :)
No3. Mr Diggy - this needs an explanation. One day Lilly started calling Max "Mr Diggy" and it stuck, we all love it and the funny part is that Max calls himself Diggy. So cute !
No4. I am Polish. I miss Poland and my family. I miss polish food. I miss polish meats. I miss snow - but just sometimes ( maybe I just think I miss snow ). I cant believe what I am gonna to say but I miss trams and buses. I miss the big city. I miss juicy and sweet strawberries. I miss trees. I miss Cracow. I do feel like at home here in America. But I still miss certain things about Poland.
No5. I am in love with shoes ! I adore shoes ! I could buy shoes everyday ! When I was little girl I slept with my new shoes. Literally I will never have enough ! Shoes are for me like jewelry. I collect them, I like looking at them, they make me feel fabulous !

Written by alex.kruk on 8:35 PMThe main thing that concerns me is that English is my second language and it is sometimes hard to put my thoughts in the right way, in a way that YOU my readers will understand what I MEAN :) The other reason is that I am reading other blogs and I stop myself from writing simply because my English is not good enough. But well, this time is different and the words will go as I think. Lets start then.
No1. I have the most important thing, the thing I always dreamt of, the thing called true love. I loved my husband James from the first sight, I love him more everyday. We have three kids which make our love bigger and better, and because we found each other makes me the happiest wife and mom ever.
No2. Not long ago I found something else. I found photography and I have been in love with my camera and pictures ever since. I didn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I felt like in a dream. I found the path in my already beautiful life. The path which made me feel complete. It was a missing spot and now is fulfilled. I love my job !
No3. Kids - that is very important part in my life since it is TAKING OVER my life ! Martin is 10 years old, Lilly is 4, and the youngest one but the biggest pain is Max 18 months old. My whole day revolves around them. I always dreamt of heaving kids and I couldn't be a more happy mom because of my babies ;)
No4. I am a color freak I admit! I love colors but they always have to match, they always have to be right. I wouldn't be able to sleep in a T-shirt not matching my bottoms. Believe me I have to get up and change. I never wear brown clothes, brown shoes, brown bags. My kids don't wear brown and James as well. Brown can be only chocolate ! i could write a whole post about colors, they kinda rule a bit in my life.
No5. Elvis Presley, he is a huge part of our life. James is an Elvis Tribute Artist - this is his job, his passion, this is what he does - spread love through Elvis' songs. It is a fun part of our life - interviews, TV, music, big life which becomes bigger and bigger every month.
Ok, I think that is it for tonight. I hope I did good. And as everybody likes a post with pictures there is one. ME. Talking about colors these beautiful shoes were the inspiration for my makeup. A little touch of color.
Behind the scene
Written by alex.kruk on 7:42 PMIt is a fact that I don't have pictures of ME. No pictures of Only ME,no Me with kids.no Me with James.no Me in parks... as a tourist...no family pictures - ZERO. I am always taking the pictures. I am always behind the camera. Today I decided it is my turn and I am gonna be IN FRONt of my own camera. I have to admit I kinda like it and I want more!
It is not so easy though with kids around, somehow wanting to be in the pictures, styling my makeup, just trying to be in the middle of the whole thing. Here are some pictures BEHIND the scenes of my own session. These pictures make me smile.
